School Nurse Services Credential Option
The School of Nursing is approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing to offer the School Nurse Services Credential (SNSC) program. The credential can be a stand-alone nondegree program for applicants with a baccalaureate degree in nursing, or it can be taken as part of the Master of Science in Nursing degree. School nurses work with K-12 student populations to promote health and oversee health education curriculum, as well as implement student health maintenance plans.
